MINUTES OF THE INAUGURATION MEETING
HELD IN MAIN OFFICE BLOCK BASEMENT

WITH COMMUNITY OF REPRESENTATIVES

The meeting opened with the President making a statement regarding Security and Gardening. The Administrator and the Security boss would attend the next meeting.

Frank was elected Chairperson of the group and Andrew Heaney was elected vice chairperson.

A meeting structure and responsibilities of the group was put to the meeting. After certain amendments and additions the proposal was agreed.
A copy will be attached to these minutes.

A discussion took place on the change from Mazarrón Reps. To Community of Owners Representatives. It was decided that it made sense for us to be available to all owners at any time and not just residents in any particular block.

The President wanted the existing volunteers to be in place for six months. After that period there will be formal elections to the committee.

MEETINGS

We intend to hold twelve meetings a year and anyone who is a representative must be able to attend at least 8 meetings per annum

NON PAYMENTS OF COMMUNITY CHARGES

We are concerned with Community Payments that have not been paid and will be discussing this matter with the Administrator.

We also have concerns about the restaurant and ask if they are making any payments towards rubbish collections.

GARDENING

This is a real problem and we are not sure about costs being increased by Mazápolis by 50%. Discuss with Frank at the next meeting.

IBERDROLA

The Law states that Huma has to supply Electricity, Water, Gas and Oil.

The question of balance sheets and accounts was raised and the committee asked for copies of balance sheets to be produced at future meetings.
We need to ask the Administrator to show us the balance sheets every month or every 3 months so we have some idea of what is being used.

COMMUNICATION

The Administrator intends to start up our own Community of Owners Website. The community need and want to know what is going on. If anyone is interested in starting up a magazine or maybe a small printout, we would like you to come forward and create. If you do not own a post box and only live here some of the time, but have an address in England, then you will have to pay for postage, if and when you require a copy of any or all information. We use Manzana 9-24 as an office at present. The Administrator has our books, which he must produce and let the President see.

SECURITY

They will be at our meeting on Wednesday.

They are working the same times as before 8pm to 8am weekdays with 24hr coverage at weekends with one car and CCTV.
We will ask the Administrator to get a copy of the contract.
A discussion took place about using the barriers with CCTV.

REPAIRS

The roads are public and not private but, we are responsible for all repairs. Some representatives suggested that the local authority should take over the roads and some of the services.

RUBBISH

Rubbish is not being collected properly, bins are overflowing around Restaurant area. We need to ask Administrator to contact (CESPA) to collect rubbish more frequently, but at a cost.

LOUD MUSIC

The restaurant has been fined 100,00 € for playing music too loud in the early hours and making a disturbance. The rules of the urbanization can be found in Ayuntamiento.

PROBLEMS

Any problems, you need to take to Emil, he will be in Manzana 9-24 between 11.00 - 1.30 pm each weekday.

The meeting closed at 1.30 pm - next meeting will be held on Friday 10th July and the president has asked the Administrator to attend.

He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
